How to distinguish between pure aluminum composite film and aluminized composite film?

Jun 19,2020

Aluminized PET film: it is to apply high-purity metal aluminum evenly on the plastic film under high-temperature vacuum state. Because it is coated on plastic, aluminum metal mainly plays a decorative role, and does not greatly help to improve the barrier properties of the material.
Aluminum foil film: It is made of pure metal aluminum tablet, the thinnest thickness can reach 0.0065MM, if it is lightly poke with the hand, it will break. When other plastics are combined, its effect is very great. After compounding with more than one layer of plastic, it can improve the barrier, sealing, fragrance retention, shielding, and other functions of the plastic.
1. Watch: Because the brightness of the aluminum foil is not as bright as that of the aluminum plating, the reflective performance of the aluminum foil is not as good as that of the aluminum coating film. The aluminum coating bag can reflect the figure, but the extinction film is aluminum coated. The appearance of the matt film aluminum coating is very similar to aluminum foil. You can block the mouth of the bag and see the inside of the bag through strong light. The aluminum foil bag is opaque, and the light-transmitting is the aluminum-plated bag.
2. Feel: The aluminum foil bag feels thick and stiff, but harder and heavier. The aluminum foil bag feels lighter and softer than the aluminum foil bag.
3. Folding: The aluminum foil bag is easy to fold out dead folds and dead marks, and the aluminum-plated bags will not fold into dead folds and dead marks, and will rebound quickly.
4. Twisting: After the aluminum foil bag is twisted, the coalescence is not easy to rebound, and the aluminum layer will break. After the aluminum-plated bag is twisted, the kink will spread out quickly, and the aluminum layer will not have obvious cracks.
5. Fire: Aluminum foil is not easy to burn with fire point, the aluminum layer will roll back, and the aluminum foil packaging will leave gray aluminum slag after burning. When the aluminized film is burned, different plastic films can be burned, and there is no residue of aluminum slag.
